These
orange photographs were taken this week at the Mission San Juan Capistrano in southern California. My grandson was very happy to watch the koi in this beautiful pond within the courtyard of the old mission.

The koi is a Japanese word for a carp in English. I don't know why you do not call it carp instead of koi.
