Shadow Shot Sunday / Candy Canes

I took these shadow shots in between Christmas Day festivities while walking my dog in our neighborhood.  These candy canes just screamed at me to take their picture!  So...I did!

A lovely shadowy shot! I saw quite a few candy cane "fences" in Sydney over the past few days in my travels - must be quite the thing to have!!

What wonderful candy cane shadows! I've seen quite a few such candy canes this year though none in daylight! Best wishes for a wonderful New Year!

What a nice pattern they form on the sidewalk. You have a good eye for spotting subjects that are easy to overlook.Great shot.

Thanks for visiting! I had to look around and find your submissions for the other memes, they're all good! I like the moon for Skywatch best, and the boy imitating the dog is a scream!
