Outdoor Wednesday #49 / Moutains Barely Seen
These photos were taken yesterday morning at different times. I was standing in my front yard looking north towards our local mountains. At 8 a.m. there was a fog obscuring the view and by 9 a.m. the fog changed to thick and beautiful puffy white clouds, also obscuring the view...but, I thought both hours were splendid! I used my wide-angle lens (18mm) on the first shot and my telephoto (about 200mm) on the second.

Very pretty shots with the autumn colors and just a glimpse of magnificent mountains!
Those colors are wonderful. The subtleties are great.
A 18mm lens is one of the lenses that I have wanted these days. Both photos are great. You used different lenses effectively to capture the mountains in different times.
Wonderful, what a view you must have.
I love the fog as long as I am not driving in it. It settles around here in the low lying farmland and the trees poke through the top of it and it is magical.
