Weekend Reflections / Puddles After the Rain

We had a lot of rain last weekend and there are still some giant puddles on some of the backstreets around town. I found this beauty late this afternoon when the sun was getting very low...you know, that magic golden hour! I walked around it and the reflections just kept getting better and better.

I must thank James, who hosts this meme, because not too awfully long ago, I would have driven right through this huge puddle and been amused with the splash! Now I stop to look for what might be captured on its surface. Thank you, James!

Can you see the UPS mail truck? The white car is mine. My little grandson was patiently waiting for me to "stop taking pictures!"

Yes it is a sunflower in my pot!
It is fun after the rain and see all the reflection in the water. I will have my post with reflection later today, MB

I would drive through that puddle too! Beautiful series, Carolyn! I would understand about Chase, because my daughter says that all the time.

Yes, I am very thankful for James with this meme!

These are great. I like the colors and clarity. Puddles are are so much more interesting now that I look for reflections. I must admit that I now see reflections all over the place. :)

Really cool images with the sharp reflection in the water that makes things seem upside down.

I love these upside down views reflected in recent puddles ... I've always tended to turn them right side up but in the future I won't. My Weekend Reflections are at Happily Retired Gal this week.
Hugs and blessings,

The puddle reflections are as clear as glass, just beautiful! Really something how this reflections meme helps us to see things in new ways.

I feel as though I might be standing on my head. What a terrific series of reflections, Carolyn. I love that your Grandson might be at the end of his patience. Let him learn that it is a virtue!

May you have a most enjoyable next two weeks.

As I look at these in the wee early hours of the morning, my world seems turned upside down. I'm feeling a bit dizzy now - going back to bed.

Gorgeous, clear photos.
