My husband and I saw "The Blue Man Group" in Las Vegas 2 weekends ago.
This is a photo of an advertisement for the show at the Venetian.
I couldn't resist capturing all the color while riding on the escalator!
I couldn't resist this photo opportunity either!
Of course NO picture taking was allowed during the show.
But, the cast was available AFTER the show!
And, they were generous with their time.
It was not easy getting a good photo because of the huge crowd and so many were using a flash, which washed out so many of my shots.
I was enjoying my new 50mm lens without using a flash.
Just like I read...you gotta have this lens!
I have SO much to learn about lighting!
One thing is for sure...THE SHOW ROCKS!
We loved it!

Good luck with your new toy! There is no end to learning new tricks and techniques in photography.
P.S. Our next field (photo) trip will be Rte 66 on the CA and NV area.
Others' flashes can drive you nuts. Yikes. These are neat shots. Enjoy the new lens.
Cool! Glad you guys had fun at the show, seems like it would be a fun one to go to...all that blue paint though, seems like their faces would itch!
Man, you did get the color. I'll bet that show is fun! Thanks for posting.
I envy you! One group I really, really want to experience!
Seen couple of video shots and boy I like their energy!
Happy CC weekend!

Would hate to have to clean off all that blue at the end of the day.
Sounds like a great show. Will have to check it out.
Wonderful pictures of the blue man though..
That is a unique shot for Color Carnival. I have seen performers in white face but never blue face.
Very cool, looks like a FUN show!!
How neat for you all to see those crazy blue guys! Good job on the photos -nice for CC.
I have no problem with blue people, but those eyes - they're just freaky : ) Great shots.

We saw the show here in Orlando and really enjoyed it as well. Perfect for this meme.
