Ellipsis Monday Photo Shoot / A Peaceful Place

I spent the day with my little grandson by the ocean today.
We walked and walked along the shores of the Bolsa Chica Wetlands and Ecological Reserve in southern California.
This is a wonderful place for anyone interested in bird watching or photography.
There are several hundred different species of birds that migrate here throughout the year.
My interest was the Snowy Egret.

I took a whole lot of photos of this guy!
I'll post more on the Weekend Reflections meme Friday morning.
This is my wonderfully peaceful place.
I shall return!

It indeed looks like a lovely place to walk around and watch birds. A contrast with the northeast which I just visited.

I see you walking through life with courage and dignity.
I see your journey reflected in the water of life.
You took the photograph of the Reserve and it holds so many strengths that I cannot even start to count them.
The modern skyline that the two figures walk under does not detract any power from the stone that has been gathered to hold back the water and enable the path to be built.

This photograph tells me I always touch the Earth wherever I walk.

Simple happiness - time with someone you love, a beautiful place, and a camera.
