Weekend Reflections / Palm Springs Tramway

My previous post showed the Palm Springs Tramway and the top of Mt. San Jacinto Mountain.
This is a reflection of the mountain top in the window of the tram station.

This is another reflection in the same window but in a section that had better light.
You can see the cables leading up to the mountain top.
It was very cold and windy on the top and a pleasant 65 degrees on the desert floor.
The base station is at the 2000 ft. elevation.
You can see lights glowing from inside the building!

That is so cool...it looked as if we were looking directly at the view!

WOW! These are so awesome!
I agree, looks as if I'm looking directly at that gorgeous view.
Well done.

A beautiful place and a fantastic tour. I was there in 1994, and it was one of the highlights of my three-week visit to the US at that time.

I'm enjoying your photos from the tram...as I would never, NEVER travel on it myself. (My palms are sweaty just thinking about it.) Great reflection!

Great reflections I especially like the top picture. It's cool that you saw the house in my post.

I was at the base of that tram in the mid 1970's and I really wanted to go up but my mother said we didn't have time but we would next time. We'll, there never was a next time. I'm going to have to have a talk with mom. :)

Love your first shot. The second has nothing like the same elegance, even though it's hard to see what's going on.

Neat shot Carolyn. Looks like a photo perched on an easel.

The best reflection is one that you don't know is a reflection. Simply amazing!

I remember when we were there there was zero visibility, but the climb up to the top was well worth it. We did a little hiking.

I love the top photo.
