Weekend Reflections, SkyWatch Friday, Looking at the Sky on Friday / A Glimpse of Sunshine

Walking around Balboa Island is one of my favorite things to do in the late afternoon and early evening.
This photo was taken last week at the height of our "June Gloom," which lasted well into July.
The sun came out about 5:15 p.m. just for me to catch this picture.

Your June Gloom still looks pretty inviting, especially with those boats to go play in.

The houses, the docks and boats are wonderful. I like the nautical sky that wafts over this picturesque island. I can almost feel the warm air and ocean breezes...

What a picturesque scene. I've heard about this place, but always miss out on it when I'm down south. Could be a painting!

Lovely, Carolyn. Makes me want to come and have an extended visit just so I could walk your walk and maybe even take a boat ride down the canal. Has a little bit of a French Impressionist feeling to it.

Wow! What a great photo! I first thought that it was a painting, because the colours are so vibrant and clear. It's also a perfect reflection.
