This photo was taken at San Clemente, which is a beautiful beach in so. California. We were walking on the pier when I decided to get up close and personal with this seagull. It didn't seem to mind that I was invading it's space...I took several close-up shots and caught this one while it suddenly flapped it's wings. I think that meant the "up close and personal" time was over!"

That's a very good choise you made, some movement in it, original composition.
This is an awesome photo. I think it great that you shot it in B&W, it makes it far more dramatic.
We've been in and out of town all weekend so this afternoon I'm getting caught up.

A good shot of the seagull! We don't have seagull here even though we're surrounded by the sea, perhaps the weather is not suitable for them since I'm from a tropical island.
'The up close and personal time' was captured perfectly in one moment.
Great photogragh that holds captive that moment.
a well-captured close moment.
