Mellow Yellow Monday #36 / Day Lily

This Day Lily grows in my front yard...no sign of autumn here...our lilies still think it is summer with the 102° we're having these days in southern California! In fact...elementary schools in my area are keeping the students inside the classrooms all day today. It's way too hot for their recess or lunch time outside. That makes really happy teachers!

I love your flower, and it is also my birthday month flower!

RYC: I am just lucky (or unlucky) to be working in Downtown LA, I get to see the beautiful public art! I have yet to go inside the Lib for the real art work!

Thanks for your very lovely and nice comments!

A beautiful day lily. Still so hot there and warming up here. We had a dust storm today. I wonder what happened to the kids at school, especially those with asthma. I feel sorry for the teachers there.
