I want to improve my skills capturing birds in flight...there is plenty of opportunity for practice around the Dana Point Harbor. More practice is needed, but, here is what I got this past weekend. The last photograph is of a sea-gull. I thought it had a fish in it's mouth when I took the picture, but, maybe not...The rest are very busy pelicans hunting for "boat-trash."

I know that it is not easy to take pictures of birds in flight. I understand that you had to be very patient until you got good shots.
