Gold Panning on the Shotover River, Skipper's Canyon New Zealand

We had a great experience panning for gold along the Shotover River in Skipper's Canyon.
Since our hands were very busy neither one of us got pictures of the 'panning' experience.
But we did manage to find 4 itsy bitsy flecks!
Yay!

Afterward we ventured out on this suspension bridge to view the river and canyon.
The shadow appears in the image.

I played with different exposure values of the same view.

...a view from the opposite side of the bridge.

 the bridge...

Jerry got a few shots of Karen and me.

a beautiful landscape captured by Jerry

 and, empty bridge.

 some close-ups...

Hope we don't exceed the 'load' limits!

 just in case!

we found this cutie just before we left...
back to Queenstown for the rest of the day.
