Ahh...this little lake is a gem in the Sierras! We spent a late afternoon here just walking the trail that completely circles the water. I found a cabin that I hope to rent someday! It's #2 and it's just waiting for us! Lake George is on the Lake Mary road just outside of Mammoth Village and is part of a string of little lakes (Mary, George, Mamie, Twin Lakes and Horseshoe Lake) that can be reached by car.
What do you see in the bottom 2 pictures? I am glad the tree didn't fall on someone's head!
