A view of the crags of the Minarets (part of the Ritter Range just west of Mammoth Mountain). The elevation is 13, 157 feet at the summit of the Minarets. Many summer-time hikers reach the base of the Ritter Mountain Range from Mammoth. Reaching the summit of the Minarets is best left to "experienced" hikers. This picture was taken after sunset. I wish I had taken the time to photograph this scene in the morning for better lighting.
