Today is the last day I will have my little grandson while his mommy is working.
It's the last day of school and she will not be returning to the classroom until next January, since she will be staying at home with our second grandson due to be born in mid-August.
I am going to miss this little guy on a Monday-Friday schedule, but, he will visit often.
He had been amusing himself by watching the bees in the flowers.
He was showing me that his hands were no where near the bees!
He is a little clown!

Very nice portraits of him, Carolyn! I hope you do okay starting tomorrow. Sounds like there will be a void. It brought a smile that call him a little clown. We have a couple of those too. :)
He is SO cute!!
Have a wonderful day:-)
what a sweet smile.
He looks like quite the sweetheart, what is he about 3 years old? I used to watch my little grandson as well. He is 3 now and goes to pre-school each day except Fridays when Mom home from work (she has a 4 day work week).
I know you will miss watching him. It is good, though, that he will get to spend some Mom time too. And when the new sibling comes, you will probably have twice as much to watch. Bet you are looking forward to the new little one! :)
Thank you so much for participating in 'Face of the Week' with such a gorgeous little face! Enjoy the week!
My wife keeps her 1 year old grandson five days a week, and drives 50 miles one way to do it. Up early and home late. I go help out a couple of days a week, and though it is tough and dominates our lives, he's worth it. I don't know how much longer that will be the arrangement, though, and I'm sure it'll be a void for us too.
I hope he liked the bees. :)
What a face!!! He is so adorable!
Excellent photos! He's so cute.
Oh my word he is so cute.
Adorable photos!
Chase is such a cute guy! :-) Lovely photos.
Does that mean you will have the two grandsons in January? Chase is such a handsome kid!
This cute kid has charm, so cute and so photogenic. I bet Chase is looking forward to his younger brother. He will have a playmate...
Hello dear Carolyn,
Adorable post and pictures, he is cute! When I was a music teacher in Brazil, oh girl...so many years ago ( I mean about 20 at least! LOL ), and in that time my mommy was living far away from my, and I could not leave my baby, my son with a nanny and I decided to take a time from my job and take care about my son.I think it was the right decision that I did and it was possible for me, thanks God.Today my son is studying at University in Brazil and I'm living in Europe, but now he is a "man", anyway mommy here is always concerned about him...I guess it's normal! or it means that I'm crazy! LOL
Wonderful post, thanks for sharing!
hugs
Léia
I always enjoy seeing pictures of Chase. I hope that you will spend a lot of time with him even though you don't see him very often from now on. He is so adorable!
