The residents of Newport Beach, CA seem to really enjoy roses.
I noticed that most of the homes have lots of beautiful rose bushes.
I found these along the waterfront of Lido Isle last evening.
I like how the evening light illuminated the bottom rose.

Gorgeous roses and wonderful photo, Carolyn!
Not the first roses I came across on my blog trails today (Mother's Day inspirations?!?), and not the first white roses either. But the only ones so far that are still blossoming in someone's garden and not cut and packaged. A celebration of floral triumph... Happy Mother's Day!
I also like the lighting and how it shows on the bottom rose. Great this way and also in monochrome.
I bet they are fragrant!
Happy Mothers Day!

Beautiful roses!Wishing YOU a Happy Mother's Day!
That is a beautiful rose :)
Southern California is a great place to grow roses. So is Northern CA
These look good as does the converted version.
I hope I am not repeating myself Carolyn. I tried to make a previous comment and am not sure if it was accepted before I got the 'service unavailable' box. Cyber gremlins at work I suppose :) Just wanted to say how much I loved this photo of your neighbor's roses. That is a pretty touch of light on the bottom rose. Lovely photo! Thanks for stopping by and Happy Mothers Day!
Hi Carolyn, thanks for stopping by my blog. Lovely photo here, it must be great to walk in your neighbourhood with so many rose bushes. I also the iris from your neighbours yard, such beautiful colours.
