Ah, you and me!!! We do seem to enjoy the sail boats! And what a terrific capture with lovely reflections! Have a great Memorial Day Weekend, Carolyn!!
What a beautiful image. There are plenty of things that I don't miss about Orange County but this is not one of them.
I posted some sailboat shots last year taken from the same place. The Wedge is a great place to watch sailboats and surfers. That was taken from West Jetty View Park right?
Guess it won't be ever enough to know how to build a boat, one has to have as well a passion for life. Always two hands full of water beneath your keel, I'd like to wish you a nice Saturday.
Lovely, Carolyn. We'll be having lots of boats out this weekend here at Boggs Lake but, unfortunately, very few if any sail boats. Your capture is very nice indeed.
Yes, rare to see just plain sail boats these days - sometimes a school of youngsters learning to sail them. Early in life I became a Sea Ranger just to be near them, even tho confined to the row boat! Your shot is very evocative with the reflections rippling in the water.

I can't resist it either, but like so many said, I'd rather be on it and watching the ones around me too. Great shot.

Its almost summer time in this photo. I'd like to sail on one of these. Nice capture!
Such a beautiful view to catch in a reflection. I can smell the salty air.

what a nice shot- wish to be there!
because of New Zealand's involvement with America's Cup, I hear about NewPort all the time. is there a New Port Rhode Island and a Newport California?
My thoughts are with you on this memorial day.
Lovely, lovely! What a tranquil scene.
We used to gaze at beautiful sailboats like these in Phuket...
