We are traveling from Christchurch to the town of Twizel on the South Island of New Zealand.
After witnessing the destruction and restoration of Christchurch from the earthquake of 2011, we were
mentally refreshed on this amazing drive through the Canterbury Plains of the South Island.
Destination...Twizel, after a few remarkable stops.

We are nearly in Fairlie where we will enjoy a taste of country life at a barbeque lunch on Morelea Farm, a typical working sheep farm.
