SkyWatch Friday and Looking at the Sky on Friday / Light on the Peaks!

Click on the photo to enlarge!
I spent a few hours in our local mountains, which are part of the San Gabriel Range, this evening.
I wanted to capture some nice light on the higher peaks.
Unfortunately the sky was rather hazy and not anything to get excited about.
But...the light on that peak was worth the drive!

This is nice, Carolyn. The mountain is in lovely light and looks so smooth in contrast to the rocky foreground.

Cool shot - i remember how exciting it is to get that morning or evening light on the peaks (The San Fran. Peaks when i lived in Northern AZ). Love the sun shining, nice one, even though it's hazy!
