we took a drive out to Palm Springs yesterday to see Marilyn Monroe's statue.
she arrived in pieces earlier in the week from Chicago.
her unveiling was Thursday, May 24, 2012.
she stands 26 feet high.
i hope she can take the brutal heat of the summer!
poor girl!
she will be off to visit someplace else in 2013.

thats really huge, seems very bulky to move it again to another location? why dont they put it in permanent place or city where people can look forward to visit.
