We went out to Anza Borrego State Park, yesterday, to view the many varieties of desert wildflowers.
We walked along this dirt road with a few other people observing the flowers close by.
The desert floor is covered with them...whites, pinks, purples, yellows, oranges...
The day was sunny so some nice shadows were sweeping across the sand.
It was a picture perfect day to be outside walking in the desert!

These pictures have been wonderful. I really hope to go there and see the wildflowers someday. It's so beautiful there.
I have a habit of not listening very well but I think my wife's parents were at the Borrego state park for the last several days. I'll ask her tomorrow and she'll either say "yes" or "You never listen to what I tell you, they went to........" :)
Great landscape and the tree is very special and wonderful! Wanna go out in the nature with these photos.
Wish you a great sunday:-)
Don't you just LOVE the smoketrees?
desert flowers are wonderful! You've captured them nicely in your photos, the shadows too
Nice captures and shadows...I really like that tree...
According to the April issue of "Popular Photography", the wildflower displays this year are supposed to be the best that they have been in years. I hope you took lots of pictures; your blog and others out your way are the only way I get to see the wildflowers!
What a wonderful place, Carolyn! The colors are so lovely! And you shadow shots are perfect! Warm sun, colorful flowers, beautiful view -- can't beat that for a perfect day! Hope you have a great week1

Thanks for sharing these lovely colorful desert views with us here and in the previous post too!
Hugs and blessings,
It looks lovely-nice, dry and sunny there! I think I've been there before a long time ago.
