Watery Wednesday, Outdoor Wednesday / Kites over the Pacific

It's all about kites for me this week!
These photos were taken just about 6 p.m. on Sunday at Huntington Beach, California USA.
We spent the afternoon at the Kite Festival there.
I was determined to stay around to capture that "magic" light in the late afternoon!
I think I did...

You certainly did capture the lightn, the water looks like quicksilver. The alignment of the kites in the second shot is great.

You really captured a very special light - a perfect contrast to the kites.

I'm so glad you make your entire post available in your feeds so I can catch up in my reader and click over when I want to add a comment. I love all the additional kite and beach photos you've shared in the last few posts. Looking at the crowds on the pier, I'm reminded why I skipped this event. I prefer visiting the beach when it's NOT overly 'peopled' ;-)
Just call me spoiled!
Hugs and blessings,
